I moved to Kelowna from Edmonton Alberta several years ago, with my wife Elizabeth and family. We love it here.  I am originally from England where I was employed by Lloyds Bank. I was in a management position in a large branch in the capital city, London.
Elizabeth and I and our son Robert emigrated from England to Canada in the eighties and went to live in Edmonton Alberta. I ran a successful Financial Planning Practice for 20 years with Elizabeth as my assistant. Our son was born just before we left England, and our daughter was born in Edmonton. Completing our family is Angus our Golden Retriever and Lillianna and Simon our two cats. We have always enjoyed the freedom of having an R.V. and over the years have spent many holidays in and around the Okanagan. For years we said that we would like to live here, and finally we have made that dream come true. There are many reasons why we think this is such a fantastic place to live. Of course, one of the big ones is the weather. The summer is glorious, spring and fall are lovely, and winter is short and mild. We have actually met people that do not even own a pair of winter boots!! We have outdoor activities galore, including boating, skiing, hiking & biking & award winning gold courses. Orchards and wineries are many. Lots of great restaurants, excellent shopping and entertainment. The University of British Columbia has a fabulous campus here.
